MARIA DE LA ORDEN

A bohemian-chic wardrobe with touches of British and Iberian extravagance—that’s the style and originality of Maria De La Orden’s eponymous brand. In 2019, after a trip to Peru, she launched a small collection of clothing made from artisanal fabrics. What began as a hobby quickly became a career, as Maria’s style enjoyed dazzling success. She then partnered with Laure de la Revellière and named her label after her, as it embodies her own style: collars, smocking, bows—all preppy codes that she twists and combines with vintage cuts with an inimitable touch.

COURREGES

André Courrèges founded his fashion house in 1961, after working for Balenciaga. By 1964, his architectural, futuristic fashion, highly symbolic of the era with its mini skirts and mini dresses, had achieved international success. He used new technologies to eliminate hand-sewing as much as possible, synthetics for easy care, no pleats or darts… His little white dress would become iconic, like vinyl, his favorite material. Always faithful to his style, impervious to all new trends, he would let his house fall asleep a little before it was bought several times and the Kering group really relaunched it in 2017. Nicolas Di Felice, its current artistic director, says he is extremely respectful of the Courrèges style, its materials and its play on geometry; with each new piece he creates, he wonders if it would be approved by André Courrèges.

OFFICINE GENERALE

Founded in 2012 by Pierre Mahéo, Officine Générale was born in Saint-Germain-des-Prés before enjoying great success and opening new stores. Inspired by workwear and uniforms, Pierre Mahéo wanted to create a timeless, Parisian, chic, and stylish women’s and men’s wardrobe, favoring beautiful materials: the fabrics come from Italy, Japan, and Scotland, and the clothes are all made in Portugal. A must-have.

DRIES VAN NOTEN

For his Parisian boutique, the brilliant Belgian designer Dries van Noten chose Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Opposite the Louvre, on the prestigious Quai Malaquais, it’s a unique location, a former bookstore, steeped in history and memories. Dries Van Noten has been living a true love affair with Paris since he presented his first Women’s Collection there in 1986. In 2025, he chose to hand over the reins to Julian Klausner, a 33-year-old Belgian designer who has collaborated closely with him since 2018. Thus, the House has chosen continuity with an Artistic Director who shares its fundamental values.

AMIN KADER

Amin Kader has made French know-how one of his main values. After working alongside various couturiers such as Kenzo Takada and Azzedine Alaïa, the designer chose to set up his creative workshop in the heart of Paris, where all the couture items (dresses, shirts, trousers, coats, etc.) and leather goods are made. Each item is produced in limited series, in noble materials whose quality and origin have been carefully studied. From one season to the next, the models are reviewed, examined, corrected, until they become timeless pieces, which are enough to dress a silhouette.

The wardrobe created by Amin Kader is undoubtedly one of the most chic and refined there is: impeccable cuts, both fluid and structured, timeless. Cashmeres, silks, poplins, wool crepes, velvets, and the famous cashmere stoles and shawls that you can wear on your shoulders as if you were delicately placing them on a lovely ottoman! Each piece has an exceptional character, which finds a somewhat special place in a wardrobe. The same goes for accessories, shoes and bags.

In the various shops, we find the scents of the Saint-Germain candle, with its notes of bergamot, clove and patchouli, a Renaissance fragrance, a zest of the Orient, it also perfumes our interiors with its unique and captivating scent,

But Amin Kader also undertook to embalm this woman who loved elegance by creating for her four original fragrances that also reveal the spirit and influences of the creator: Eau de Cologne Cesarea, an infusion of Mediterranean citrus fruits, orange, lemon and bergamot; Psyché, formulated as an ode to the orange tree supported by notes of white musk; Tabriz, an essence of patchouli sublimated by intense notes of jasmine intertwined with cedar and sandalwood; and of course our favorite, Eau Pratine, a unique accord of flowers and spices, illuminated with a woody resinous balm. A mystical olfactory imprint, rooted in the Saint-Germain des Prés district. Its candied vapors undulate in the alleys built of these sacred stones, impregnated with a velvety patina. A luminous juice that perfumes the atmosphere, leaving a trail of the strength of a shadow.

LA PRESTIC OUISTON

A chic, surprising wardrobe, made entirely of silk. Created in 2010, Laurence Mahéo named her brand after her two favorite dolls, Prestic and Ouiston, with whom she used to play in her grandparents’ fabric store. Childhood memories, dreamlike designs and prints, often created in collaboration with Laurence Kiberlain, the designer really knew how to create a universe apart in the Grand Bazaar of fashion.

RUBIROSA’S

Designer Lauren Rubinski identified four essential pieces for a chic, unisex, and intergenerational wardrobe: an Italian poplin shirt, pajamas, slippers, and a cashmere sweater. She then decided to create each piece in a wide range of colors (between 12 and 16), adding details like custom embroidery every Saturday… And success followed, meteoric, in this setting decorated by architect Louis-Charles Aka, where guests are received with such exceptional hospitality that they feel truly special.

BARBARA BUI

Since her beginnings, Barbara Bui has dressed women in a way that is uniquely hers: strong and fragile at the same time, masculine as well as feminine. She loves rock for its music but also for its personalities whose attitude and freedom always inspire her. Thus, she refuses to create pieces that are too “fashionable” to give those who wear them the opportunity to truly make them their own, to be free. But there are two things on which she will never compromise: the impeccable cut of her clothes and the quality of the materials she uses, whether leather, vinyl, or silk. Her wardrobe is absolutely timeless.

FORTE-FORTE

Giada, Paolo Forte, and Robert Vattilana founded their fashion house in 2002 in Veneto, a leading region for Made in Italy. Their collections of timeless designs, with pure shapes and natural materials, quickly won over fashionistas around the world. Yet Forte-Forte deliberately remains somewhat removed from the fashion world, respecting the ecological, artisanal, and aesthetic values that are dear to its heart. Currently, the brand only has two boutiques, one in Milan and the other in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

ACNE STUDIOS

The brand’s name, derived from the slogan “Ambition to Create Novel Expressions,” reflects both the authenticity and creativity of its collections. Each season, the style, a reflection of its artistic director, Jonny Johansson, is different, chic or casual, but always surprising.
