LES DEUX MAGOTS

The twin of the Flore, or its enemy, also has its literary Prize, created in 1993 and which is the first one to be awarded in January. So how to decide between the Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots ? Everyone has to decide according to his tastes. Maybe we will choose Les Deux Magots to have a cup of tea or a hot chocolate made in the traditional way and for its terrace during spring or even in winter when we look desperately for the first rays of sunshine.

HUGO & VICTOR

Hugues Pouget, former Chef pastry cook at Guy Savoy did not want to sell his cakes the same way as in a simple cake shop. His concept is that around three permanent flavors, chocolate, vanilla and caramel, he adds to his creations seasonal products as combawa, litchi, pineapple, followed in the summertime by strawberry, cherry, peach, apricot, cherry plum or fig from Solliès. So here one will find caramel or exotic fruits mille feuilles, and blood orange cream in his éclair.

THIERRY MARX BAKERY

Opening a bakery was one of the three-star chef’s oldest dreams because for him, bread is inseparable from cooking and it must therefore be irreproachable.

Bread in all its forms, but always made from cereals 100% from organic farming and flour from mills located in Île-de-France and above all, combined with fresh seasonal products.

The sandwiches here are therefore truly exceptional, with an extra star for the Breadmaki, but the pastries are not to be outdone, those who have tasted the famous Brioche tigrée will tell you that.

LE NARCISSE BLANC

A sublime 5* hotel imagined by the owners of Maison Favart in homage to Cléo de Mérode, Parisian, dancer at the Paris Opera, muse and model of Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec or Nadar, who was nicknamed Le petit Narcisse and whose Cocteau said she was the Beauty of the beauties.

Central but discreet, it is a truly Parisian address. The 30 rooms and 7 suites combine luxurious and refined art deco and art nouveau decor, imagined by designers Laurent & Laurence, in collaboration with decorators Thierry Martin and Thibaut Fron.

To drink tea, several small lounges give the impression of being almost in a pied-à-terre: the boudoir lounge, the glass-roofed lounge adjoining the reception and the library lounge.

The clean-lined Spa offers a superb 13-metre swimming pool, a hot tub, a hammam, a sauna, a fitness room and bespoke Carita and Kos Paris treatments.

But at the Narcisse Blanc there is also a restaurant, the Cléo, a superb address for lunch or dinner. Chef Bruno Aubin surprises us with a contemporary, organic and creative cuisine that has many followers, residents or visitors. The wine list was drawn up there by the Best Sommelier of the World 2000, Olivier Poussier.
