SPA DES PRES

A bubble of serenity with a sublime pool where the play of water and light is reflected on a blurred mirror, but also a hammam, a meditation and yoga room, a fitness room and two massage cabins. The ambiance of the Spa des Prés by Codage is an out-of-this-world journey of the senses.

Codage treatments, inherited from the French pharmaceutical tradition, are based on a perfect knowledge of the active ingredients used. At the heart of this approach also remains the desire to offer tailor-made treatments, with different products and gestures according to the desires and needs of each. Treatments for the face or for the body, traditional or borrowed from the different cultures of the world, which are all exceptional.

Galerie OSCAR GRAF

An antique dealer grandmother, a decorator father, art history studies, Oscar Graf, despite his young age, has the job under his skin. But he chose to focus on a very particular period: the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century in Europe and the United States, which his father François-Joseph was one of the first to defend. Like him, Oscar is fond of this Japanese movement which operated in Western Europe from 1868, when the Japanese ports opened up to the world. This current at the origin of many styles was interpreted very differently according to countries and fashions. From the almost contemporary forms of Godwin to the ceramics of Carriès, passing by Edouard Lièvre and the Herter Brothers, the decorative arts were cradled for almost thirty years by this Far Eastern culture which very often appeared as a new world.

L’HÔTEL

the Hotel is a must. Jacques Garcia has created a charming house, luxurious but intimate and discreet, steeped in the history of Saint-Germain des Prés. Here we take a trip, a thousand places from our daily lives, in a special atmosphere, borrowed from a little nostalgia for bygone times. Each of the twenty rooms has its legend, reflected by a specific decoration. If you like English literature, room N° 16 where Oscar Wilde lived for a long time will be for you, but you will have many other choices, from Marco Polo to Charles X via Mistinguett, or even Venice and Pondicherry, and even an apartment with its terrace.

In the basement there is a lovely pool and a hammam, which can be privatized to spend a moment of relaxation alone or in pairs.

The Hotel also has one of the prettiest lounges there is, which can be privatized for events, and a Bar, the Wilde’s, one of the best known on the left bank, the one where we give appointments during the day. , where we feast at night, where every Thursday evening we come to listen to jazz. (find it in our Bars & Clubs section).

HÔTEL DE LILLE

Nestled in the heart of the Carré Rive Gauche, a warm and refined four-star hotel. Fifteen rooms devoted to the great figures of the left bank, intellectuals or artists, carefully chosen because they have made or still make the neighborhood their adopted land: Marguerite Duras or Patrick Modiano, Ernest Hemingway or Henry Miller, Serge Gainsbourg and Miles Davis, Alberto Moravia, André Gide …. An aesthete’s selection.

All these characters do not invade the space but rather act as guides in the decor: by small touches, we discover them through a photo, an object, a few books or a film and we fall in love.

But earthly foods, so dear to our neighborhood, are not left out either, with room service open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. which offers a selection of dishes from the best Parisian grocery stores or small producers in our provinces. On the menu: smoked salmon, foie gras, Iberian ham, risotto and even caviar for the most festive!

And then the Lille street hotel is also a team, led by a passionate director, who knows each of his guests, his tastes, his desires, and does not hesitate to guide them in a city he knows like his poached.

Galerie CYRIL GUERNIERI

Cyril Guernieri is a young gallery owner who is enthusiastic and generous in his relationship with people. He discovers young artists or brings back into the spotlight on the French scene artists who are already recognized. Attached to aesthetics, to the history of art too, the artists he brings together around him, painters or sculptors, each have a strong, assertive universe, and when he brings their work into dialogue during collective exhibitions , the works enrich each other.

LE MONTANA

Some people compare it to the famous New-York Studio 54. Le Montana is in fact the new place created by André (Baron, Hotel Amour…) where one must spend the night. Upstairs, at the bar, we drink piscines (champagne with ice) and downstairs, in the vaulted cellar, we dance. The younger ones are delighted that André has chosen Saint-Germain-des-prés to create a new place and the less young are thrilled about this arrival which brings back the rue Saint-Benoît its old energy.

LE RELAIS CHRISTINE

The Relais Christine is an oasis of calm in the heart of Paris. Steeped in history, the establishment has a paved inner courtyard which is accessed by a covered walkway. Behind the house, a 150 m² garden opens up to visitors. Remains of the Saint-Denis College of the Abbaye des Grands Augustins can be seen on the lower floor, now dedicated to well-being. Entirely decorated by Laura Gonzalez in a spirit that resolutely pays homage to the French style, this hotel is a small jewel.

In each of the 48 rooms and suites, all unique, we immerse ourselves in a chic and intimate universe: antiques, plush velvets, warm woodwork and noble materials, toile de Jouy for some, four-poster beds for others, marble bathrooms from Carrara…

The Spa Guerlain, in addition to exceptional treatments, offers a jacuzzi, a sauna, an exercise room, in a refined setting adorned with old stones.
