Jean Prouve, Andre Borderie, Jean Maneval, Pierre Guariche, mathieu Mategot, Jean Royere, Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Serge Mouille, Charlotte Perriand : Philippe and Mathieu Jousse really show the best of architect furniture. For more than twenty five years, Philippe Jousse has contributed to the recognition of those designers, all forerunners in the design of their time and who have somehow revolutionized shape and material.
Arne Jacobsen, Alvar Aalto, Hans Wegner and the others … All the great designers, young or already gone down in history are presented here, with exclusive “rééditions” regularly.
Ria is Filipina and Yiouri is Cypriot, one studied design and the other architecture. They met in London in the 1980s where they both worked for the designer John Stefanidis. Few years later they decided to achieve (to fulfil) their dream by creating their first collection of furniture and by showing it in Paris. Success was instantaneous : the Crillon placed an order for the apartments of this luxury hotel, Neiman Marcus and Barney’s show them in New York City. They settled in the Rue du Bac and since then never stopped creating furniture very inspired by Art Deco for which they have no limits concerning the choice of materials that they use, like at that time : rare woods, crocodile, python, cobra or ostrich skin, but also horn or mothers-of-pearls.

Editor of contemporary furniture for almost forty years, Artelano favors limited series and most of all objects which combine practicality, quality and comfort. Among the designers who collaborate with the brand there are Olivier Gagnère, Piero Lissoni, Carlo Tamborini or Christophe Pillet. Of course Artelano also creates decors as it was the case for the Café Marly, Christofle, Air France or various hotels. Furthermore, the editor regularly shows the work of visual artists on temporary exhibitions.
Le Montalembert is the first 5-star hotel on the Left Bank. It dates from the 1920s and has kept its look and chic. Recently redecorated, it has kept this modern and quiet luxury, the pure lines, the dark woods and the muted hues. Here reigns good taste in its intimate version.

As the Conran Shop, the Gallery Sentou is aimed at an amateur public interested in design who, even so, would not necessarily dare go in a traditional gallery or could not afford a unique piece or a limited edition. Their selection is perfect : the brothers Bouroullec, radi designers, Charles et Ray Eames, Tsé & Tsé, Alvar Altao…
Emmanuel Sammartino and Christophe Hervé show their choice of perfumed flowers, particularly varieties of roses that are to be found nowhere else, in a dark décor, kind of a curio boutique. Among furniture that have acquired a patina, there are : a stuffed bird, Medicis Vases, some objects and flowers of course you will not be able to resist to !
The three associates of Rosebud met when they were working at Christian Tortu, so we can trust their creativity and their knowledge. The shop window is already a landscape by itself, but as we go in we discover a very beautiful choice of seasonal flowers and the creations by Laurence Brabant or by Guaxs for vases.
At Marie Papier you will find a great choice of albums, visitors’ books, notebooks, boxes, which are all sophisticated but also hundreds of papers and as many colors to print or correspond in unusual ways.
Writing paper, smart, poetic or funny notebooks to write our favorite spots, to stick our photos or our souvenirs. Wrapping papers and ribbons are so pretty that they would almost stop us from opening our gifts. There are also Nô Dolls, pillows for our wing chairs, bags and cuddly toys for more beautiful dreams, all those little “things” that a Germanopratine would not be able to do without.
