Henri and Jacqueline Daumas show really original collections of kilims. Contemporary pieces, in wool and hemp, hand-thread in Turkey, whose patterns can be traditional or contemporary. All models made to order can be made-to-measure. But we also find there really exceptional antique textiles, Coptics, Ottomans or from Central Asia.
At Shu, the open kitchen on the room allows every guest to be present at all the preparations of the Chef Osamu Ukai. A restaurant for the real lovers of Japanese food who will enjoy a delicious feast of quail’s eggs with foie gras, miso and lotus’roots, of rice soup with ochazuké green tea, or of kushiagué, those little bites of vegetable, shellfish and fried meat, which are one of the Chef’s specialties. To accompany your meal, there is a large choice of sakés, in a glass or the bottle, in cold or hot flasks.
For almost seventy years Thoumieux has been the Brasserie of the whole Politic and Gourmet Paris. Taken over by Thierry Costes and of especially by Jean-François Piège in 2009, the typical setting of the 1930s is decorated with mirrors, red wall seats, many lightings which give the Brasserie a more rushed atmosphere. And concerning the food, still Brasserie… but reinterpreted by Sylvestre Wahid.

Directed by Alain de Monbrison and Emilie Salmon, the gallery specializes in the ancient arts of Africa and Oceania and is a reference for the greatest European and American museums which have acquired some of his works (Musée du Quai Branly-Jacques Chirac in Paris, Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Smithsonian in Washington, Detroit Institute of Art, Barbier Mueller Museum in Geneva…). As an expert, Alain de Monbrison also participates in the production of prestigious auctions.

Il Vicolo is an indispensable place for all Italian Gastronomy buffs. In an uncluttered and colored décor, Loreda Schettino welcomes you in the Italian style, in their “house”. Here there is no pizza, the Chef Vincenzo Patruno reinterprets the traditional recipes of his country with very refined dishes as the big raviole of Saint-Jacques or the saffron and bitter cocoa risotto. Simply one of the best Italian restaurants in Paris.

Some great names of contemporary design are listed among the artists they present exclusively : Mattia Bonetti, Jacques Jarrige, Olivier Gagnère, Patrick Naggar or Eric Schmitt.
Since 1964 Voltex has been editing the lights of the greatest designers : the “classiques sixties” by Vico Magistretti, Gae Aulenti or Gio Ponti mix the creations of the young (new) generation : Neil Poulton, Ora Ito, Ernesto Gimondi, Ross Lovegrove or Karim Rashid. You cannot do without them whatever your home style.
