The past is not presented as a fixed reference but as a material constantly reactivated in the present, with paintings by Jean de Gaspary and Camille Cottier, ceramics by G\u00e9raldine Cornette de St Cyr, Antoine Marquis, Rousse C\u00e9ramique, and Basile Boon, and furniture by Pierre Guariche, Oud Architecture, Jean Couvreur, and Isabelle Stanislas.
