The Louvre was thus able to design with the Met an unprecedented dialogue between these two collections which will take place within the permanent rooms of oriental antiquities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:51px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.germanopratines.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/The-MET-au-Louvre-4-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.germanopratines.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/The-MET-au-Louvre-4-1-609x1030.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-133777\" width=\"1016\" height=\"1718\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.germanopratines.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/The-MET-au-Louvre-4-1-609x1030.jpg 609w, https:\/\/www.germanopratines.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/The-MET-au-Louvre-4-1-177x300.jpg 177w, https:\/\/www.germanopratines.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/The-MET-au-Louvre-4-1-417x705.jpg 417w, https:\/\/www.germanopratines.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/The-MET-au-Louvre-4-1.jpg 656w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1016px) 100vw, 1016px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:51px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dated between the end of the 4th millennium BC and the 5th century AD, the Met&#8217;s works, exceptional guests, introduce remarkable correspondences with the collections of the Louvre, that is, together they form a pair brought together for the first time on this occasion, or that they complement each other due to the specificities linked to the history of each of the two collections.
